After 24 years, NAL’s role of President is changing hands following the retirement of Gary Lindsay.

When Gary joined the company in the late 1990’s, NAL was focused on roadside assistance, transitioning to disability protection for Owner Operator Truck Drivers in 1998.

Since then, the company has grown to insure over 16,000 Owner Operators & drivers across Canada and has built a suite of additional insurance products to service the trucking industry.

NAL recently received the Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the London Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Awards Gala, largely thanks to NAL’s efforts over the past two decades in creating initiatives including Trucking for Wishes, Thank A Trucker, and Healthy Trucker.

All 3 of these programs were started by NAL’s new President, Aaron Lindsay, who has been with the company over 21 years. Starting as a telemarketer, he advanced to become Vice President of Marketing in 2014 and earned an Executive MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at Western University.

Since then, Aaron has led the sales and marketing team to develop several new insurance products and has increased the sales team from 16 to over 80 representatives across Canada.

“It’s been an honour to have worked alongside my father for the past 21 years and I have learned so much from him,” said Aaron. “I look forward to continuing to grow the business with the help of our incredible team, and providing the Canadian trucking industry with the high-quality insurance products and services they have come to expect from NAL,” he added.

Gary Lindsay will continue as an advisor through this transition.
